Could you be the full-time Software Architect (CBTC) in Madrid we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll participate in the application design and development pertaining to train control signalling solution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering), sevelop subsystem requirements and designs based on system-level designs and requirements and much more. You'll contribute to the elaboration of product/system specification and architecture, in collaboration with the Product Designers and System Engineers. We’ll look to you for: Work as a team player in a dynamic work environment. Learn and apply new tools, techniques, and processes in an environment that focuses on continuous improvement. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: B.S in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other engineering discipline. 8-10 years’ experience developing software. Rail transportation industry preferred. Good knowledge in software development principles. Good knowledge and experience in software implementation (.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C/C++). Good knowledge of object-oriented design. Experience working with the Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience in agile software development. Experience with software development tools such as .NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, DOORS, Jenkins Availability to work nightshift and weekends (occasionally). Sometimes travel will be required, in special during the preliminary design and commissioning phase of the project (20-30%).
