Summary The Hyperion Materials & Technologies Quality Engineer will perform activities necessary to assure compliance of the production unit quality management system to ISO 9001:2015 standard. The Quality Engineer will engage in improvement activities to support the strategic direction of continuous improvement defined by the Operations management team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Management and study of customer complaints, root cause analysis, definition of corrective actions, involving the departments as necessary in each case. Management and study of internal and supplier nonconformities. Statistics and monitoring of quality indicators. Participation in the definition of new products and modifications of the current ones. (Customer requirements, control plans, homologations). Validation of equipment and PPAP's (If the automotive account or other customers requesting it). Participation in the maintenance and improvement of the quality system. Preparation of quality certificates for customers. Performing internal system, process and product audits. Training of operators in quality issues Contribute to continuous improvement Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience At least 3 years in industrial sector in quality, production or engineering department. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems. Internal auditor of ISO 9001 quality systems Knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools. Knowledge of metallurgy. Advanced MS Office user. Drawing interpretation Training in Industrial dregree Materials Engineering or similar High level of English Technical Skills/Physical Requirements
