Product Engineer In your new role as a Product Engineer in our office in Sant Cugat del Valles, you will be part of our international Engineering team. Being in touch with different customers, sales teams and production plants in Europe, you will be responsible for designing different custom hole-making tools for our clients. If you want to become an expert and having a long career path, this is your place. Responsibilities: Independent expertly, functionally and production optimized design, layout and design of tools in accordance with the specifications of the design order, as well as Kennametal and customer guidelines. Detailed clarifications with customers, sales representatives, application engineers, concept engineering, routing and production. Conducting and participating in project meetings. Preparation of all documents required for production (parts lists, classification, organization of documents in PLM system). Optimization and further development of existing tooling solutions. Standardization and support of design automation of product lines. Independent review of designs and deadline monitoring. Modification of production and customer drawings. Technical support of marketing, product engineering, sales and concept engineering. Support and training of colleagues from other locations. Further training in machining technology, digitalization, automation and CAD. Knowledge: Mechanical Engineer with 3D design experience, or Technical apprenticeship with further training as technician with: Professional experience in metal-cutting shaping with CNC machines and modern tool systems Solid basic knowledge of manufacturing processes Competent use of 3D CAD programs, Siemens NX desirable Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD desirable Knowledge of SAP desirable Very good language skills in English (spoken and written), good language skills in German desirable Distinct ability to teamwork What we can offer: Lunch Ticket COBEE ADESLAS – Additional health insurance Office located in Sant Cugat del Valles (25 Minutes by train from Plaza Catalunya) Hybrid work model Equal Opportunity Employer
