Could you be the full-time Industrial Quality Engineer (Painting) in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your quality in painting processes expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll be in charge to ensure the compliance of products and parts delivered by the ALSTOM facilities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (production, special processes), p erform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on products ready for delivery and on products during their manufacturing process according to Control Plan per Project and internal procedures (highlighting painting processes) and much more. You’ll specifically take care of recording associated NCRs, results, and KPIs , but also leading the continuous improvement and the prevention of Quality defects in order to obtain more efficiency and goes to the excellence for the painting workshop . We’ll look to you for: Ensure the Quality of produced products and encourage, promote and facilitate the properly criteria to Production Perform Painting inspections in the process and also in finished ALSTOM products according to well defined criteria using internal and international standards. Contribute into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope. Functionally manages the team of verifiers of the Workshop. Reporting of KPIs, defects, quality incidentsof properly Workshop. Accepts or Reject products as defined in the working instructions. Accurately document NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and Alstom teams (QRQC, Quality wall, ). Lead the properly activities to develop continuous improvement and prevention actions to increase the level of quality performance in the Painting Workshop (QRQC, RR, Pareto...). Deployment of the self-control audit plan with efficiency. Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections. Lead the Control Plan edition, and ensure all characteristics in Control Plan are deployed in the manufacturing processes. Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action. Works with industrial teams to alert on risks of missing parts due to defects. Records inspection results in the industrial tools as required. Report to the Industrial Quality Manager the synthesis of inspection results, including KPIs. Stop the production in case of a defect which justifies mandatory rework. Escalade the anomalies detected on the production lines & ensure their effective treatment (QRQC tool). Support manufacturing teams regarding the self-inspection. Deploy the APSYS roadmap in order to Quality requirements (Quality Animation, Self-inspection, Defects management...). All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Desirable Qualification FROSIO or NACE Level II Technical background enabling the understanding of critical characteristics of the products of Painting process. 3-5 years experience in a similar position Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools. Experience in operational activities and in documentation management. Knowledge in Quality standard (ISO 9001, IRIS,...) Awareness on processes and products delivered in the project.
