We are looking for a Demand Planner for Hill's Iberia team, responsible for: Managing preparation, alignment, and communication of a high quality Spain and Portugal Demand Plan, balancing cross functional input and reflecting the latest commercial/customer plans in order to meet business objectives Being the main contact between the commercial team & regional supply chain to achieve an aligned/synchronized demand plan and drive continuous improvement Planning and keeping update 18 months rolling demand forecast at country level and SKU Reaching the objectives of Demand Planning Accuracy Total Country and by class of product (Regular, Promo and New) Responsibilities: Build Collaborative Demand Plan – Regularly interact with commercial teams to gather customer plans & other demand inputs. Determine deviations vs. statistical demand plan, gain alignment & document key assumptions. Review Demand Plan - Prepare & participate in the monthly sales planning process to develop an aligned demand plan. Gaps & opportunities are identified, quantified & addressed. Synchronize Supply & Demand - Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Identify and ensure communication of supply risks/opportunities/constraints, potential solutions, and impact. Support New Product Planning & Life Cycle Planning - Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume & first 6 months of demand for new products. Track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions. Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage & communicate SKU performance and life cycle changes. Slow Moving & Obsolete Inventory Management - Develop action plan for Slow Moving inventory reduction and collaborate with commercial teams to execute it. Effective management of the destruction of materials, ensuring adequate visibility of the head office and its approving correspondents. Measure & Track Performance - Measure, report, and drive improvement of demand planning process & results. Establish action plans for the gaps identified to achieve the objectives of accuracy and net error Communicate & Manage Demand – Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis. Identify/Communicate significant changes and gaps versus expectations/plan consolidated in previous planning cycles. Build organizational capability & drive change management - Support the development of demand planning competencies and capabilities leveraging change management principles. Education: Master’s degree (preferred: Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics or equivalent experience) Fluent English and Spanish is a must.
