As an Assistant Manager Risk Management at adidas you are responsible to protect the development of ecommerce in Europe through fraud prevention. This role focuses on having an investigative eye, collecting information, and using logic to solve abstract problems. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Internal Controls, Finance, Consumer Service, Payment, and Tech to proactively assess vulnerabilities across our ecommerce services, set clear objectives, and develop appropriate countermeasures. You are curious by nature, get energy from combining different data sources, and enjoy developing creative solutions that mitigate risk and drive profitability; without degrading the digital experience of our trusted consumers. Key Responsibilities Analyze risk management KPI framework to spot trends and prevent fraud attempts Measure, track, and communicate data on fraud prevention on a regular basis Work cooperatively with other partners focused on fraud prevention to assess vulnerabilities, recognize trends, and define mitigation proposals Evaluate current ecommerce processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and enhance consumer experience Represent market demand for risk management with Global Product Ownership, IT Solutions and SCM. Drive prioritization and implementation to achieve maximum business impact Define optimization and rollout requirements / success criteria for new consumer-focused self-service processes to ensure best fit for business need and fraud protection Establish innovative market trends and latest technological development Key Relationships Europe Finance and Internal Controls Europe Legal Europe Supply Chain Management and Transportation Europe Consumer Service Europe Digital Analytics Global Payment and Risk Management Global Product Ownership and Tech Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Extensive analytical skills – Notices the small details Ability to handle ambiguity and untangle complex situations into actionable activities Not afraid to take ownership of decisions and leverages data to back up those decisions High resilience and solution-oriented attitude Good communication skills – comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various levels Hard-Skills Comfortable working with enterprise-level (anti-fraud) platforms and technologies Experience with Forter, MicroStrategy, PowerBI and / or Kibana is a plus Expert knowledge of digital IT products and capabilities Fluent in English both verbally and written Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications University degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, business administration, economics, information technology or similar discipline 2 years of experience in an online consumer-facing high-transaction environment At least 1 year of experience in ecommerce Payment or Risk Management is a plus
