The position reports into the Production&wharehouse Business Unit Manager and will be assigned in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. What You Will Do MAIN MISSIONS: * Guarantee the manufacture operations in accordance with the safety and environmental standards. * Manufacture products according to the production plan and product specifications to achieve the goal of customer satisfaction by delivering on time at the lowest cost with the expected quality. Key Responsibilities Safety & Environment As a line manager, has the responsibility to enforce the rules applicable on the site, as well as to act to improve EHS&S standards for his teams. • Respects, applies and enforces all safety procedures (lockout, dangerous products management, fire evacuation, accidents, wearing of personal protection, compliance with waste disposal policy, etc.). • Is responsible for the security of the site. • Presents the safety update prepared by the EHS&S department. • Alerts, escalates and records security issues, incidents, risks, etc. Quality * Respects, applies and enforces good manufacturing and quality practice procedures (self-control, blockage, traceability, materials refused upon receipt, personnel audits, unblocking, cleanliness, hygiene in the shopfloor, etc.). • Ensures compliance with standards and defined manufacturing processes. • Approves manufacturing documents after verifying that all requested information is present (Verification and correction of discrepancies in batch records). • Organizes tests and checks after defective blockages . • Makes the entire team aware of the quality of the products manufactured. • Is responsible for the quality training plan for the employees. • Alert and take contingency measures in case of an standards deviation. Engagement & Talent development • Participates in talent recruitment and leads his team training & development plans. • Tracks and ensures the leaves management, monitoring of recovery hours, sick leave, etc. • Leads and participates in the daily/weekly/monthly performance management monthly meeting. • Training: is responsible for the safety, quality and sustainability training plan for the employees, mandatory global face-to-face training as well as operational training in the workshops (guarantees the staff training in the machine operation/validation, training follow-up, internships, promotions, etc.). Manufacture • Asks all members of his team to respect the quantities to be manufactured by monitoring their losses (scrap, waste disposal, etc.). • Analyzes his/her team's production reports and implements corrective actions to improve his/her performance. • Is responsible for the application of Level 1 maintenance: cleaning, inspection, lubrication and restauration. Technique • Coordinates correct coordination in the event of a machine breakdown . • Monitors and sensitizes all members of his team to the consumption of spare parts with the correct consumption recording. • Proposes all modifications likely to improve the safety, quality or productivity of its workshop (reduction of losses, scraps, etc.). • Participates in the testing of new materials, processes and products. On the social level • Develops a team spirit and success for a permanent motivation of each person. • Also develops a spirit that fosters a good social and safe environment within his/her team and within the factory. • Acts as an interface between staff and administrative departments (HR, payroll, ext. training, etc.). • Ensures the management of upstream and downward information (local, region, global functions). At the management level • Supervised staff varies according to production requirements: from 20 to 40 people. • Management of flows from the MP warehouse to the PF warehouse via the production floors. • Ensures the management of the manufacturing and packaging workshops in collaboration with the other supervisors, the Planning team, including the update of the management systems. • Analyzes advances-delays and implements corrective actions. Miscellaneous activities • Organizes and prepares manufacturing/packaging stations, secures the overall standards and procedures. • Participates in the development of the operating budget. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; a concentration in health sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field is preferred. • At least between 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. • Fluency in English required, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English. • Mastery of Office package . Desired Qualifications • Demonstrated experience problem solving and dealing with ambiguity. • Functional Technical Skills. Production and mechanics: electromechanical, maintenance, automation, electricity, mechanics, adjustment. • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with multiple teams and levels across the Organization. • Organizational Capacity. • Result-oriented. • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools. • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills are preferred.
