ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM: We are looking for a Payroll Specialist EMEA that helps us coordinate all the payroll processes in France, Italy and Portugal. Besides, we would like you to participate in payroll and payroll accounting projects, contributing with all the expertise gained in the mentioned countries. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Compile, review, and supervise payroll for approximately 100 employees across 3 European countries * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls in the payroll process * Manage relationships with local payroll providers and government entities * Oversee and execute payroll accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Address and resolve payroll and accounting discrepancies or issues * Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, tax, and IT, providing payroll and accounting guidance * Support the year-end audit by providing necessary records and documentation * Assist the Payroll Manager with month, quarter, and year-end payroll tax payments * Process and send reimbursement payments to the Payroll Manager SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a similar field * 2+ years of functional and 1+ year experience with France, Italy and Portugal accounting/payroll processes * Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google products * Strong communication skills, written/verbal, and ability to interact with employees at all levels, including upper management * Fluent in English and Spanish, working knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
